Coil-over questions for 14 GT
Hey folks--I am planning to install an Eibach R2 coil-over kit in 14 GT this spring, and had some questions:
- If anyone is running this setup, what are your general impressions? How well does the damping adjustment system work?
- I understand that this kit will come with new front mounts, how much has NVH increased with the new mounts and coil-overs?
- I plan to lower the car about 1.5", and will upgrade the rear UCA's, UCA mounts, LCA's, LCA relocation brackets, and PH bar. Will I need camber/caster plates for the front? Seems to be a lot of debate regarding camber bolts. This car may see a track twice in its lifetime.
- I will be installing a supercharger this spring as well--does anyone know how well the stock springs on the R2 will handle 600 RWHP? The Eibach rep claims that the R2 rear springs are 225# in front, and 250# in the rear. He mentioned that the GT500 kit is compatible with the 14 GT--is this true? This kit runs a 400# spring in front, and 275# spring in the rear.
Thanks for the help!
