Hood struts

Hey guys does anyone know where I can get some hood struts that aren't to much. I know american muscle sells them but the cheapest ones are $80 and I was looking for something a bit cheaper. I don't care what they look like they don't have to be fancy just regular struts im tired of this hood prop it's 2015 and they still use the damn prop. Thanks guys.

80 is about the best I've seen except when AM puts them on sale. I believe they were like 66 bucks once? Other than that eBay used might work. Or 80 from AM and the forum discount of 6% off. It's not a huge discount but I mean that's pretty cheap.

Hey AP,

The MMD Hood Struts are great and I run them personally.

In regards to pricing, shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do for you! You have to get rid of the prop rod!

Looking forward to hearing back.

You don't want to cut corners so much the hood won't stay up, especially in cold weather. 80 bucks new for a quality product is worth every penny. I used the MRT struts. I like them b/c the effort level is perfectly weighted; they sit tight to back of the hood so they don't get in the way servicing the car. The hood's open and closed a lot on my car b/c I cool it between runs at the strip and the hood stays up, all the way up, in all conditions

The Roush ones are very nice, love mine. They will run you over $100. Have heard good things about the Redlines and they seem to be about $70 if you watch.

AM had them last year for $59.95 at one point. Put them on my 2014. No issue so far.
