running shorter tires than stock 27.2's

Been doing research on tires since i plan on getting a new set of wheels for my 2014 gt. It looks like if your planning to run 305's on 19's like i am your gonna have to take at least a .9 of an inch loss in tire diameter. Since the only tire sizes really available for this setup are 305/30-19.

So, here's the thing... I can run 265/35-19 up front and 305/30-19 out back to keep everything leveled at .9 of an inch in tire height loss. Leaving me with 26.3" diameter Front and back.

Or i can run 285/30-19 up front which sounds more ideal as far as tire width (it would match the 305's better grip performance wise). Although, with this setup the front tires will be 25.8" tall wile the rear is 26.3". Is this such a bad thing?

I wont do 285/35-19 because that would make my front tires bigger than my rear (height wise) and that just sounds weird to me.

Which combination should i go with? Are they both a bad idea considering they don't match the stock 27.2 tire diameter? I looked everywhere and i cant find any tires in 305 for 19" anywhere that match the stock 27.2" diameter!!

Im also planning to do a 1.5" drop all around just in case that matters.

P.S I know i could just get 20's and not have this problem but i prefer 19's.

Why do you feel you have to match your existing tire diameter?
You can recalibrate for speedometer corrections.

I understand that diehard, but my question also is do i need to keep the wheel diameter the same for both the front and rear? Will having differant diameter front and back adversly affect handling?
