Suspension work

Did some suspension work this past weekend and installed the koni str.t shocks and struts, sr lowering springs, and bmr adjustable panhard bar. Install was smooth for the most part but I did break one of the strut mount studs.. Anybody know if I can just replace the one stud? I reused the factory strut mounts.

Yes. I broke a stud one time like a thousand years ago and the dealer replaced it. It was like an $8 stud.

Ok sweet. Sucks having to take everything off to just replace that stud but oh well you gotta learn somehow.

Just curious do most people really only use all the factory bolts for suspension parts once? I just reused all of mine..

I reused all the factory nuts and bolts. I've got no issues.

Same exact set up minus me having an SR panhard. How are you liking it? Love mine. Bang for buck can't beat the performance. Changed the whole driving experience.

Yeah I would say these are the best bang for buck mods I've done. Under $600 and got new shocks and struts, springs, and panhard bar.. An air intake cost over half of that. Shoutout to americanmuscle.com cause I picked up my SR lowering springs for $99 a little while back. Glad I did since I have never seen them that cheap again haha

The issue is that the bolts stretch because you're torquing it to like 80-90lbs. Do that a couple times or more and it will be weaker and may snap. So at the very least change it out after one time reuse and don't over torque beyond the recommended spec.
