BMR LCA holes don't align??

Im having issues finishing some installs. The picture should tell it all. My cars still on jack stands until I figure out what I should do. Is this common for the passenger side rear LCAS? Click image for larger version

Umm, just pry bar the rear end until they do align and ram the bolt in.

I figured but didn't want to pry it in and damage the bushing if it wasn't meant to fit. The drivers side went in perfectly

If you have a large screw driver or a hole punch you can't get it in the hole and pry it into place?

When I did body work we had a tool for things like this, it's basically a bigger looking punch tool. But once you align it then you start the bolt from the other side.

I would imagine the rear end placement needed to move anyway. Right?

It's just crowbar city. You don't need to stick anything in the hole. Gently pry against the body work and it'll be fine. You're totally overthinking this; it really is as simple as it looks. The job is made easier if you just take off one side at a time.

Right on. Just confirming. Torque specs are 130 for these bolts right?

They are whatever the manufacturer of the arms (BMR) tells you they are. Those specs are for the factory arms. Factory arms have massive steel sleeves in them, to support the mushy rubber bushing.

Yeah probably wouldn't get to that number anyways while laying on my back. Not enough leverage. BMR does say 130. Lol

Huh, do you only have one arm or something? 130 lbs with a 2 foot torque wrench is nothing. I'm barely a buck fifty myself and had no trouble zipping to 130 on the garage floor. It's all about the miracle of leverage and body position....

It's less than ideal but, put an extension on it to get it outside the body area and you should be able to lean on it. I did it bracing my legs against the axle drivers side and pushing back into it. Pass side a little less easy but put my back against the floorboard and pushed with my mass.

Wait til you try the UCA main bolt that's tightened to like 350 lb/ft.....

Yeah sometimes you just have to use a little force, at your own discretion of course

I had a hard time getting the drivers side to line up but once I got that one, the other was easy. Torque wasn't that bad. Do you even lift? Lol...always wanted to use that.
