new guy - rear end clunk

Hi guys, new here. I've searched and can't find the answer I'm looking for. I bought my 2013 gt track pack/brembo package about a year ago with 1100 miles on it. Love it so far. Got 4k on it now. Anyway, I just took it out of winter storage last week and I've noticed a noise from the rear end going over bumps. It's not a low thud it's more high pitched. Not over every bump either. Idk if I'm being paranoid or what. I don't want to take it to the dealer and give a tech a reason to go beat on it. Also planning on doing coil overs and uca lca and ph bar in the next couple months here after my wedding, so hopefully that clears it up. Sorry for the long post but has anyway dealt with anything similar? Thanks

9 times out of 10 this is the sway bar end links. It's been a problem since 05. Ford replaced mine on my 12 BBP and I had no further issues. The replacement ones were much better quality. You're still in bumper to bumper so, take it in and see what they say.

The part # for the replacements from Ford is cr3z-5c488L.

Eventually I just burned all the rubber out in the sway bar and panhard with torchy and replaced it with poly bushings from Energy suspension. WAY better.

I'll ask them when I take it in for an oil change this week. Would do it myself but I can pass up a 40 dollar oil change and tire rotation haha. Maybe I'll just upgrade the sway bars when I do the suspension?

People do that, definitely. The car has plenty of bar stock but, people usually want to upgrade for adjustability, weight reduction and to get all the rubber creme-filled doughnuts out.

Let me know how it goes.

As far as the one listed, how would they do with a drop?

For $40 the dealer is going to put in 5w20 instead of 5w50 which is called for in the track pack. That is fine, as the engines are the same, just letting you know though.

I just paid $68.00 for oil and filter 5-50 full synthetic and I change myself so you must be getting the blended.
