Alex after hearing about the V2 tune I called Bama guys and the person that I talked to said that there was not much of a difference so do I "upgrade" or keep what I have?

I'm interested to here the answer to this.
I'm not exactly sure what the v2 is, I have the sct with a bama tune on my 12 GT. Is the v2 a tuner or the tune?

It is the tune. To the best of my knowledge it is a new "version". I thought it was to squeeze a bit more performance and or throttle response but the rep that I spoke with was not making me think this. It was more like you can get a V2 but it wont do much for you.

The v2 tune is pretty much just a smoother tune all around. You Will notice the difference between the two unless you did a lot of logging and revisions I would assume

Only thing I noticed is my cylinder head temp has gone up minimally (per track apps) used to run about 208ish degrees, now stays at 214, I've always wondered if there was a danger limit on that

Only available for v8 at this moment they're still working on it for v6 I believe.

What!? That's crazy! Can you do me a huge favor and shoot me a PM with your phone number or the number that you called in on so I can review the phone call?

The V2 Tunes were brought about by many comments not only on the forums but other places and they're centered around driveabiltiy and I would definitely recommend getting "upgraded" as they're leaps and bounds better than what was being sent out 9 months ago.

Kona - Good question and it's the tunes themselves - If you haven't had a revision since then I would shoot them a call to get set up with them and try them out!

That's rally uncharacteristic of them and I'm not sure where to start but the V2's will make similar power to what we've seen with Bama's previous tunes but the driveabiltiy is where I want customers to focus on more. I've driven damn near everything in a Ford Showroom (Up to an F600 back from my construction days) and most if not all have little hiccups and hesitations. I was recently in the market for a 2014 or 2015 GT but decided against and picked up 2014 left over EcoBoost and with under 2k on it already it has all of these little nuances but mainly with the transmission along with the "hesitation" once it gets out of cold start.

While the Bama Team is here to make safe and consistent power there's always the urge to push the envelope and make more. They've pushed this and we're aware of what these cars can and cannot take but it's all about the driveability and I highly recommended checking them out. You'll love them. Let me know if you have any other questions and if you can shoot me a PM with your phone number it would be greatly appreciated!

Alex

509 - Bama is working on the V2 V6 tunes as we speak and they should be out shortly!
