Easy Long term upgrades?(take a little bit)

I find my self sitting staring in front of the tv in the evening after I get home. Does anybody know of a project or done 1 them selfs thats fairly easily, challenging is ok to but that also take a good amount of time to complete to keep me occupied. (2011 Mustang, Please no crazy things like nitrous systems and turbos)

I am thinking of building a custom sub box for my trunk. So many youtube videos to look at for help.

I know some people that get really into lights. Not like ordering a premade unit like raxiom, but actually splitting the headlight and adding LEDs or painting the unit black or matte black. Just a thought.

Also interior trim work is a fun project that can come out great. I've seen guys remove all the trim pieces and do some awesome paint work, like a splatter paint theme, or add custom lighting.
