Base gt question

I may be picking up a base 14 gt soon, and I just realized I didn't adjust the seat much when I got in and didnt pay much attention to the seat adjustments. Do the manual seats have the ability to move up and down?

Just because it's a base doesn't mean the driver seat is manual. If it has the tech pack or the brembo pack it should have a power driver seat. But I believe you can move it up if it is manual anyway. I think they have a pump lever.

Manual seats still adjust up and down.

Base GT with manual seat has a driver side pump handle that raises the whole seat. Bad thing about it is its shape and location. It always caught my pants cuff getting out.
I switched to a base GT with tech package and now I have the two things I wanted. Power drivers seat with no pump handle. And Sync Bluetooth. Can take and make calls easier driving a manual. I just couldn't believe a 2014 even base model didn't have standard Bluetooth. Or Sirius radio for that matter. My tech pack model STILL has no XM built in!
(I live in the sticks where there's only 4 radio stations)

The only extras I wanted were leather and power seats but out of all the cars I've looked at, this one seems like the best option. I'll end up redoing the sound system and I'll also order some leather take offs. The manual seat thing id just have to live with.

Yeah you can easily reupholster the seats. I did. And really once you get the seat where you want it...the power seat isn't worth having. Stock radio is a piece of *****. So yeah, you will be ok bud.

I have a base GT and the driver's side is the only one with the pump up and down mechanism. As many power seat failures with low mileage that I have read about on these forums, I'm glad I got the manual seats.

Yeah its just something else to go bad. The seat motor in my 96 is shot. I'm about 97% sure I'm picking this car up tomorrow evening.

I think all seats have sliders lol. And I have a base with added recaro's and 3.73's. That's all I cared about.

Wasn't talking about sliding front to back. Up and and down, floor to roof.
