Borla

I own a 2014 5.0 and found a set of borla axlebacks online for cheap but they are for the 3.7. Does anyone know if they are the same muffler or completely different? I don't want to rush and buy them then regret it

They're different. The piping isn't the same size.

Or, since Borla makes Roush mufflers, you can get the Roush a lot cheaper. My brother has a 2013 5.0 and recently slapped on a set and it sounds absolutely amazing. Paid $469.

The 3.7 and 5.0 have different pipe sizes. Personally I hate exhaust systems that are extremely loud i like a nice loud start up and is loud when you really step on it but sounds good when u first start off from a stop sighn. I think Roush is the best in terms of axle backs or cat backs.

I'll +1 to the Roush AB. Awesome exhaust system, but it does wake the neighbors.

I also like a car that's kind of quiet at idle, but gets more & more aggressive with RPMs. Both Borla & Roush fit that description. In some actually exhaust review round ups. Borla had one the largest delts (changes) from idle to max volume. And what's good it was almost as loud as the loudest ones at WOT. So you get the best of both worlds. Quiet when you don't want to wake up your neighbors, but when you want to punch it & turn heads it will.

I'm really sold in borla. Roush is too raspy and not deep enough for me.

I have borla s types with o/r h and ARH long tube headers. Sounds awesome imo but is pretty loud. With the axel backs alone it still sounds really good imo

They're really raspy if any other mod than the axle back is done, so think about the future of your car before you choose a system.
