Just ordered one from LMR. Was looking at the whiteline one for a couple weeks but decided to go with steeda. Can't beat made in America and for $30 you can't go wrong!

Thank you for the support!

We pride ourselves in being able to make products here in the U.S.A.

There are always other products out there, that may be cheaper, but unless you see Made in the U.S.A. you can never be sure where it is made!

Best Regards,

TJ

My review of the Steeda Insert , I ordered my insert on Thursday received it Saturday quick shipping +1, Install was easy like others said hardest part is jacking up the car, At first I was worried about a increase in NVH but i noticed NONE. +1 Now for the shifting, Wow slides perfect into every gear, I use to have a nibble going into 3 when cold but that was gone , It almost feels like the transmission was sagging before which was making gears rough to find and the insert aligned it correctly to make every gear perfect,

I would Recommend this to everyone,

Thanks Steeda !!

Has anyone cut a hole in this one like people do with the whiteline one to help with NVH?

Mine definitely added some NVH. I was highly considering removing it due to this but I seem to be getting used to it or the NVH is getting better. Definitely helps with the 2nd to 3rd shift. I had been missing it but now I don't.

More vibration through the shifter. My seat and whole cabin have a distinct vibration now as well as more engine sounds in the cabin. The vibration and sound seems to come around 2500-3500 RPM's.

Is there anything you could compare the sound to for reference?

I suppose some people are more sensitive than others. I had the same concern you did, but notice nothing at all. And I'm trying to. I thought if it was bad or annoying I would set it aside for track days or whatever. But it's staying installed forever.

Did you experience white lines as well? Like on a friends car? Just curious.

Still I think I'd hate missing 2nd more than the NHV

No I never had a personal experience with the whiteline part. Just read a ton of reviews and the thing that seemed to be consistent was that it made noise at first, and either it went away on its own or the owner modified it to be better. I am sure I wouldn't be unhappy with the whiteline part, but I am very happy with the Steeda. So I'd say go for it. It's 30 bucks. Hardly a big decision, and honestly I can't imagine you would regret it at all. I am so glad I pulled the trigger on mine. And oh by the way I drive my car anywhere from 500-900 miles a week. Just depends. But if I can do that, anyone can get this part and be happy about it.

You know when you downshift into first and coast down to a red light and your car makes that awesome burble/popping sound? That sound is distinctly coming from the back of the car and it's most definitely outside of the cabin. With this insert, that burbling sounds like it's in the cabin albeit very less pronounced. You can also feel, via vibration, that the burble is though out the cabin. It's hard to explain but that's what it feels like to me.

Steeda Trans mount insert

As Dave said I am experiencing the same exact vibration issue. Its pretty bad and annoying. Its not as bad around town driving but racing the car 80+mph its something I couldn't live with. It's the same issue as I experienced with the Whiteline insert on my 2011 Mustang. What helped a lot for me was hacking the center off the Whiteline, curious if the same would work with the Steeda insert? I'm going to check if the insert is contacting the cross member which was some of the cause on the other insert. Also going to call Steeda to see what they suggest.

Hello SilverStang,

We won’t recommend it but if it worked for others ... it could be a good option to reduce NVH.

Best Regards,

TJ

Ok so TJ if you won't recommend that, what would you recommend to do?

Just do it man it won't hurt anything , most of the movement is on the sides anyway . rule of modifying if your scared your gonna get more feeling from stuff being stiffer and getting more vibration don't do it
