I have not but based on all the ebay transactions I've done in the past, people who had those kind of reviews rarely disappoint.

Roush stopped listing the 12-14 seat take offs as they are now converting the 15's so yeah you won't see them listing them anymore (that's where I got mine). But as stated above with feedback like that you should be good. And If it's not you will be protected through eBay.

Killer. I love them. It's pretty dang easy too. Took a few days before the wrinkles you see in the pics worked themselves out. But you would never know they didn't come from ford originally.

Yeah that looks great. Before I order these, there wasn't two shades of black in these car was it? Charcoal is the correct color?

Thanks man. I'm glad I did it. At the time I was really trying to debate if it was worth it. No question I made the right choice.

As far as color, mine are black those look black. I don't believe there is a different black or charcoal. Some call it that but it's the same.

If you google 'roush take off ebay' the first hit will be there ebay store. Right now they have some 11-14 leather roush seat covers that have red/ blue leather in the center. I got my stock GT covers from them and it fits perfect.
Right when you put the covers on they may have some gap in them from being stretched but after they are on for a few months they even back out. Mine have been on for 4 months now and fits perfectly.

Not to mention it's kinda silly in my opinion to have roush seats in a non roush car.

They are also nice as spares. On my last Mustang, I had gardening clippers in my back pocket and sat in the car forgetting they were in my pocket. It made a small hole.

Bill make sure you pick up some hog ring pliers and hog rings when you get ready to do this. You will need them in a few spots just FYI

Yeah you can get them there or like Eastwood or late model resto. You don't need a snap on set. Just a harbor freight cheapo will get you by. And you will need maybe 20-24 hog rings. I already had the pliers from when I had reupholstered my seats on my 69 back in like 2000. Then just picked up some hog rings from eBay.

Ah cool I didn't know harbor freight sold them. I may be going to a harbor freight store this weekend. If so I'll pick some up. Thanks man.

Leather take offs was the first mod I did to my 2014. Be careful removing the plastic trimming on the seats. They do not just pop off like the Katskin video. You need to reach up into the bottom of the seat and pinch the fasteners while pulling them from the outside and be careful not to cut the crap out of your hands as there are a lot of sharp edges in there!

Thanks for the tip. I'd hate to break something already. Only had the car a week.

I installed my first mod last night, borla axlebacks. Leather will be my second, then an upgrade from the base sound system.

I have been wanting to upgrade the base stereo as well. I came across a great and unexpected deal on a set of track pack wheels though so that killed the stereo fund for now. Well, not really killed it but I am unsure whether I want to take it somewhere and have a new head unit put in or do it myself. I have a friend that did his so he knows what all the car would need as far as kits and harnesses.

Installing the head unit should be pretty straight forward. I'm actually gonna try and keep the factory unit. I'll swap it out if I'm unhappy but the cost of a nice double din+the dash kit is pretty expensive. I came across a great deal on a 12" jl audio w6 (which is a little more than I wanted but I couldn't pass it up).

I actually don't think the base system is as bad as everyone else does. It just lacks good clean bass IMO.

My friend said the oppostie, saying the head unit made the biggest difference. He tried amps/new speaker/subs first and then installed a new head unit. I will do head unit and speakers, probably no amp, just the power from the head unit. My drive to work is only about 20 minutes and sometimes I don't even turn it on, just give my ears a rest. I play in a band on the weekends so sometimes I just get tired of hearing anything musical.

Plus that v8 sound is better than any audio system I've ever heard lol

And yeah if it doesn't sound good ill swap it out. In my experience with aftermarket speakers running off a head unit with no amp, it usually doesn't sound much better than factory speakers. I've got pioneer 5x7s in my old car with a small no name amp and it sounds great. Total cost for that set up was around 70 bucks lol

My '93 Trans Am sounded a lot more clear with an aftermarket head unit and stock speakers. It was just an inexpensive Pioneer, too.

Why, I put Shelby seat covers in my V6 and have had nothing but nice compliments. Was even told by a Shelby owner that mine looked better than his.

Does it have Shelby logo embroidered on it? They look nice, I just think rolling around with seats that say roush or even boss seats in a car like a regular gt or a v6 is kinda like putting that same badge on it on the outside. It's your car man. I'm not hating, but it's not what I would do in my car. So just my opinion.

I think they are great looking seats, but I wouldn't put a cobra emblem on my gt let alone my v6 mustang. That's all. But it's your car man. Lots of people feel like I do, some don't.

He's not trying to pass it off as a Shelby, geez!
Those seats look fantastic, really great w the red paint.
The Shelby logo makes no difference.

My car came with a Pioneer head unit from Saleen I think it looks pretty clean and works well, AM has a nice setup for around 599, add another 100 and you can get the backup camera and SYNC equipped!

Hey no need to get all worked up. I'm just responding to a question he asked me. It would bother me to have Shelby embroidered seats in a non Shelby car. That's me. I also said they are great looking seats. Too bad they have the cobra on them.

Sadly the cobra emblem has been abused over the years and you find it in places it doesn't belong. Kinda cheapens the essence of a real cobra.

I have some boss parts on my car, soon a Shelby wing, maybe some roush parts one day. But I wouldn't want anyone to mistake that my car is a gt. The emblems and embossed parts will stay off my car.

Indeed not. It has 3.7 badges on the fenders and no other cobras anywhere. I just got a great deal on them and they were a big improvement over the base cloth seats. This car just spent last week in the Dallas Auto Show where it got overwhelming approval from the public.

Just kidding lol..I've never noticed a big difference myself though. But I've never invested much into head units either. I've always went with cheaper pioneers. Def won't cheap out on the next one though.

My seats were recovered in leather before I bought it used. They also have Mustang embroidered in the seat with contrast stitching. I love it so far. Only had it 6 weeks. Click image for larger version

Not to offend anyone but i do agree. The dealership I bought my car from had a 2013 gt(40kish miles) with roush badges and the guy told me they'd had it for months, couldn't sell it. He said I could walk out with it for 18k.

idk what 2013 gt's go for but at the time I thought it was a steal, except it roush badges...
