Changing synthetic greases?

I originally used a different synthetic grease on my panhard bar. I want to regrease the fittings but do I need to fully clean out the bushings of the original grease before using the new grease? I'm using Mobil 1 synthetic now

Nope. Don't worry about it. And FYI I use Amsoil synthetic as recommended by BMR.

How often do you regrease it? I just got my BMR panhard bar a few weeks ago

I do mine once a year but on BMR's site it tells you exactly when.

DO NOT overdo it on the greasing...fastest way to buying another bar because you bugger the bushings up. You can be reasonably certain if it's not making noise it's good to go.
