New Bama Tuner, Will Dyno Test

I just ordered a Bama tuner through American Muscle. After reading through some posts, I decided the convenience of Bama was the deciding factor until I need a true dyno tune as I am still stock. There's a dyno day set up in two weeks where I will be putting it on the dyno to see what numbers I get. Hopefully I will be able to post some good results. I'm hoping most of all that the shifting will be better on the automatic as it's my wife's DD, but the power increase is always welcome.

I forgot to update this until now. I got the tunes loaded up and went to the dyno. Without any data logging, the 93 performance tune put 368 hp down with just the tune and BBK Veritune axle-backs. I wasn't able to get baseline numbers due to time but the new tune greatly improved the shifting of the auto. Its like driving a whole new car with the better shifting.

Very nice. It always stinks to hear the car is cranking 400+ HP only to find out it gets less then 400 at the wheels. In my case, it is 305 at the crank and like 250 at the wheels. As you add more bolt-ons, you will get some of that usable power back. Of course, the free tunes for life will allow you to keep updating that tune as you add more.

I hope after this fall, I will be close to 300. Because I am dropping almost 4k into my car for even more mods then what is in my sig. As 305 is where these little sixers are rated.

The shifting is the first thing I noticed too. Very firm and positive. Even the downshifts are that way. Really like the V2 tune.

Would be more effective if you took the tune out and ran on the dyno stock

I know but since then I put on headers and off road xpipe so I can't now. I shouldnhave baselined but I didntbhave time for more pulls. Main takeaway is the much much better shifting from the auto. That alone is worth it.
