Alarm

So my 2013 mustang GT alarm keeps going off at random times. First it will starting beeping for a few seconds, then the alarm will go off. I noticed through other threads people have the same problem, and i am wondering if anybody has any idea how to fix it before i take it to the dealer.
Also, it's a factory alarm and there are no mods.

Thank you.

What did you find out was causing your factory alarm to randomly go off. I have the same problem. I've done a few different things and haven't solved the problem. I'm waiting til I get more money saved up before I take it to the dealership to have them work on it.

do you have a dog/kid inside? there is a interior motion sensor....

or you can adjust the sensitivity it may be too tight. I have a PDF of alarm instructions it's kinda large but if you want to PM me your email I can send it. Look under the alarm forum I've sent it to a couple of people B4..

Mine stays off all the time, that would suck if it remained on.

Thanks to all that replied,
i went to the dealer and the alarm is still under warranty. Only thing is Galpin Auto Sports (secondary market alarm by ford) will have to fix it instead of the dealer.

What was wrong with the alarm? I don't have mine working at the moment, had to deactivate it because it would go off on me every 5 minutes.

My alarm would go off every 5-20 minutes too. Turns out i have a factory alarm and an after market alarm by GAS (Galpin Auto Sports). i haven't gotten it fix yet, i made an appointment for the first week of june. The representative told me that they would have to reprogram the alarm with the cars' commuter. hopefully it works, ill post an update when i get it fix, "again" lol
