Anyone deleted their resonators with S-Type AB?

I am trying to decide if I want to remove my resonators. I have the S type axlebacks currently with stock H-pipe. Has anyone removed theirs with just running the AB? Would you do it again?

Other option would be to remove resonators and replace the H pipe with a catted X. This would mimic the borla catback setup, which sounds amazing on youtube, on this Black GT.

Thanks,

I wonder if res deletes and switching to x pipe would make a noticeable difference with S types. As in if the exhaust note would be more "refined/clear"

I've never heard the s type, but the x will give you more rasp.

Roush with res deletes are going to hella raspy, maybe a touch louder but that's all.

Hmm that's the general consensus with x pipes right. However, if you have a deep sounding axle back let's say a magnaflow, kooks or borla touring/s type, I heard it will refine its sound. Just curious if anyone has had personal experience doing so

The one in that youtube video sounds great, imo at least. It essentially has an X pipe and res deletes as that is how the catback is setup, afik.

Anyone deleted their resonators with S-Type AB?

I have the borla s types with cat deletes. I replaced the pipes from the cats to the axle back with a JEGS set which deletes the resonators. I love it.

Edit: the JEGS set comes with an H pipe, which is what I prefer.

How do they sound now? Super loud? Raspy?

I have the S types with Lethal Over Axel pipes with stock H. It picked up some volume but also some rasp under hard accel.

I currently have the borla type s and love it. I would like to add long tube headers and an x pipe. Which do you recommend?! Nothing raspy, not much of a fan for the loud rasp
