Then you could easily customize them up. I don't think you really need the 6 Piston set up honestly. I'm sure it is better but most people agree it's not worth the extra money. More bragging rights than anything.

IG @Oxford5pointoh

Oh good god, that's a good price. I'll have to check them out. Does that usually include everything you need? There's a kit from FR on AM for 1100$ and change. I'd rather pay less than that if I can lol.

I hate to muck up your thread, but would those fit/work on my base GT without a hiccup?

They ALWAYS have a set listed. So don't get bid crazy thinking you will never get a set. I just wish they did buy it now, but that looks like most everything. Only thing I'm not sure in is if there is a mounting bracket you need that would be different. But worth some digging to find out. Hello that's even a 6 piston set up. Now your trying to make me jealous. Hahaha.

By the way, my thread is for anything we want to talk about πŸ‘πŸ» obviously our spindles are the same ect. Only thing I'm not positive about is the mounting bracket. Since they take these off and swap them with a baer set up they prob don't have to remove the bracket. I'm sure you can figure it out though. I will look and see if I can find out also. Worst case I could always pop off some pics of my set up and you can compare the mounts

Lol just trying to keep my build out of this thread, lol but that would be great. I'm sure a quick google search will be most helpful when I get outta work at 3. I ordered the wheels I have in an offset that is "supposedly" able to fit brembos, so we'll see.

Your good man. It's not your build till you buy the parts 😜 I'm sure your wheels will clear the brembos no prob. They look like they have a good offset already.

Want to sponsor me so I can buy the other 3!? πŸ˜†πŸ”« damn I hate my expensive taste. (The secret on this one wheel is that I got it for 118 bucks shipped, stole it on eBay) but now I have to pay full price for 3 :/ 409 bucks each 😱 but I will pace myself.

That. Is. Awesome.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiice!

Those louvers are awesome too. Really reminds me of the classic fastbacks.

And... Maybe you'll get lucky and keep finding great deals on the other three wheels?

Thanks buddy. Yeah I had to try it on and see how it looked. I'm usually a stock wheel kinda guy. But these really make a statement. I am going to keep an eye out for another deal on the wheels. I wouldn't be surprised if I am patient I could score the front 2 or the other rear wheel.

The louvers, yeah they really do remind me of the fastbacks as well. They are pretty awesome. I'm really happy with them so far.

Thanks again for the comments πŸ‘πŸ»

I thought you were joking! LOL

That's Forgestar's new sale marketing trick. They sell 1 wheel at costs, so you go out and buy 3 more at full price!

ALMOST like Gillette giving away the first razor so you keep buying refills.

Yeah, but its worth it.

You're doing it right the first time. I see some people skimping on wheels/tires (or other mods) and then regretting their choices later. Then they have to redo things a second time & end up spending more than if they had just done it right the first time.

Forgestars are NICE, LIGHTWEIGHT, and you get them in the right size & offsets for putting some thick rubber on the back. (I assume that's the 11" wide rears?)

I love the look of my wheels, and I love how lightweight they are, but I wish they were 10"+ in the rear instead of 9.5". If I were to ever get a supercharger, I think I'd need new wheels, b/c my current wheels max out about 285.

Yeah I have a habit of always falling in love with the "best" or expensive stuff. Your right though, I have been that guy who buys junk or the stuff that needs to get replaced later and you end up kicking yourself. Lesson learned.

These are the 19x10 with a +42 offset rears. I think the 11's would be insane. Just these 10" are tight towards the back of the wheel and inner wheel well. I'm sure they fit or AM wouldn't sell them but I think the 10" rear and either 9.5 or 9" fronts will be a perfect stagger for me. As far as weight, holy crap your not kidding. 24.5 lbs for this wheel. Stock brembo is 31 I believe. That's a huge difference. Now I need to figure out the tires I want to run.

That was the hard part for me...figuring out tires. Couldn't decide if I wanted to run a radial, low tread life summers, or something basic to get me through and put radials on my stock 18's. I ended up going with the last option lol. Toyo proxes 4 plus' do just what I need them to do as a daily driver and they grip quite well in turns for an all season

Yeah I'm with ya. I am going to get some good all season or winter tires for the brembos. I will run those in the winter time.

For me the decision is more the size. AM recommends 275 40 on the rear and 245 45 for the front. But that seems weird to run 45's front and 40's rear.
