DarkestCon,

Wow, thank you for the compliments. I am really glad that I was able to inspire you to join mustang evolution as well as some future mods. I've never had a chance to really do this before and I'm glad I did this thread.

Next few mods that will go on the car,

Forgestars need tires. That's happening soon. I actually need tires now that I have 35k on my stocks.

Got some vinyl on the way. You will have to wait and see what that looks like

I recently bought a set of take off brembos from roush directly for a steal of a deal via their Ebay store. I am going to send them off to powder coat, then do a quick swap so I don't have any down time. Haven't quite settled on the color just yet.

Then I want to get my roush hood scoop ready for paint and try to paint it on my own and see how it comes out.

That's all I have for now!

How much did they sell the brembos for? I've been hunting around for some. Also what's the name of their eBay store?

Ive had burnt orange calipers before on another white car and they pair really well, especially ones that have a little flake in them
This was the color

The orange from your valve covers would also work well and stick with your theme.

This was obviously no rotors but I didn't need those. They say they are "damaged" but that's just because they are scratched, again not an issue for me since they are going straight to powder coat.

You would just need rotors and pads

Man that's a steal. Looks like I'll hit that page up and start watching. I'm going to powder coat mine as well.

Nah they are the same ones I already have. Just the 4 pot. But everything I've read basically says that people like me will never utilize or notice the difference between the 2

Yeah I just check daily. These popped up and I jumped on it. I've never seen a set this cheap.

Ahhhh ok. Yeah I believe AM has some 4 pots with rotors and lines for about 1100$. Those seem to be the direction I'll go in once it's time. Anything has to be better than these spongy, craptastic OEM brakes...

Chose a color for the calipers.

Transparent copper

The place I am sending them will place a new brembo logo then powder coat over that. They allow me to choose the color of the logo as well. I chose gunmetal to match my wheels.

This is the place I'm sending them to

http://www.armortechpowdercoating.com/

It's a bit pricey at 125.00 per caliper but I chose them because they specialize in this type of work. I could have got them done locally for probably half that but I don't believe they would be done to my standards. Should have them back in a few weeks 😎👍🏻

That will look sweet. I contemplated a lime green, or yellow. For me this copper does it. I know it's not super original but I like that it will work with any color scheme I would go with on the car.

It will look great. And you're right, it is pretty neutral. Yellow is too...Porsche. This fits. Hmmm...tax time is right around the corner lol.

Lol, I wish there was a simple solution to changing the piece out because I'd keep it black and just interchange them when I felt like it.

That's funny what you said about the photocopied instructions. Cervinis and starkey products did the same thing. It would honestly cost a fraction more for some quality color pictures and make the customers life so much easier.

What's really annoying is you think, okay they didn't want to pop on the nice color print. I get it. Let me just pull this up electronically...PDF version is the same. Scanned in copy. Still can't see crap. :l

Well today was a fun day. TPMS came in a day early, tires showed up yesterday along with the gorilla tuner lug nuts. So I packed it in the car (2 trips) and got them mounted and balanced then rushed home and got them mounted up.

I went with continental tire extreme contact DW 255 40 up front and 285 35 rear. Loving the new set up. Pics hardly do it justice.

Looks good dude. I'm getting the same tire setup (size wise) as you. Crazy how that works out, do you mind getting a rear shot do I can see how the tires look from behind?

Ha, thanks again. She's looking fabulous. Do those Louvers not sit flush with the body? I'm installing mine in a couple weeks.
