Fun fact, post borla atak install first tank MPG average of 19.5 lowest I have ever had since owning the car. Lmao. That's with like 200 miles of straight freeway driving on that tank. I typically get 25 mpg average per tank. Needless to say I've been having some fun city driving with the ataks.

Funny how gas mileage deteriorates after nice sounding exhaust installs lol

I want a supercharger so bad. There's a guy locally selling a Paxton kit but the price just seems high considering its missing a few things. I really want the roush anyway.

Whitecali, which kit do you have?

This little crap is going to bother me. If I had got an eBay bargain deal on these it might be fine but I paid 360 bucks for these suckers. Jesus.

Oxford5pointoh build thread

^lol

Silver horse racing themselves painted these. I already sent them an email. Maybe I am being picky but seriously I paid 185.00 for them to paint these over un-painted. On a side note these are bad freaking arse. You know I will take a ton of pictures. I am guessing I will have to wait forever and a day for them to send me another set though. That's what's frustrating. These took 4-5 weeks and then they aren't up to snuff? Come on.

F that. Go to your local body guy and have them redone, then send silver horse the bill. I did that with RTR. If they want any future business they'll make it right.

I'm not sure I can trust that one of these guys around here can handle the job honestly. Then they jack it up and I'm out of luck. I would probably be better off leaving it as is then to have someone mess with it locally.

The flaws are not slap you in the face obvious, but they are there. It's just such a pita.

Love the tire mix up. That would happen to me

364.99 painted to be exact. And then you have to get the glue and primer to install.

So SHR basically told me I have 3 options

A. Send these back, get an unpainted set and a partial refund and have them painted on my own

B. Send back for refund

C. Go *#!% myself and keep these

Said in so many words his painter does what he can, and after 10 years with that painter he knows better than to try again. And that white shoes all little imperfections.

I am so sick of companies who offer a product then get bent when a customer complains when they don't deliver. I am not sure what I'm going to do. I seriously doubt anyone in the country area I live in would get these remotely close to right. And I really want a set of these because they are so awesome looking. Guess I will just be bent over and accept that the don't look how I think they should.

Lol, wow. Wow. Sweet customer service. That is awful. Are the ABS plastic? What are they made out of? I just thought about something. Just like with my wing, and my decklid is ever so SLIGHTLY off because they aren't steel. Just like my rear bumper. Even from the factory. It's a bit off. Something as flush as these are, I would hope it would be spot on. My painter, as good as he is, has a tough time with Oxford. New Oxford vs oem/old Oxford is obviously a hair off. Making me think twice about these...

After so much back and forth with them, I'd tell them I want a partial refund for inconvenience and you keep the louvers how they are. That's what I would do.

So I basically told him how I was lost for words when he basically threw in the towel on even trying to get me another set. Then he said he will TRY one more time if I want but "the wait time is still there". Well honestly I don't want a discount or a refund. I want a freaking set of these bad boys done right.

So I told him I wanted another set and if the wait time meant 4-6 more weeks and he replied "yes" because they have to cure and that's the time it takes ect. Says he already sent 2 sets to get done (he has them done 2 sets at a time).

So I guess now I wait. He says he will personally inspect them and if they are better than the set I have now he will swap them out. If not, he will refund. Which is still not what I want. I want a set of these. Why on earth this is so difficult I don't know.

One thing is for sure, I am going to be seriously disappointed if I wait 4-6 more weeks and he tells me the replacement sets are no better. At that point I will be stuck with the set I have been starring at for over a month and could have just installed.

Sucks. Is there a dealership near you? I would think they'd have a decent painter. Could be wrong though, no experience with them.

Yeah but I don't trust them to paint a part like this correctly. They have to apply the masking tape in the correct places, plus the entire part is like lexan. Easily scratched through the clear viewing areas when color sanding if not handled correctly. If I were a painter I would want an arm and a leg to paint them. You get one shot to not jack these things up.
