2015 parts on 2014

Does anyone know if you can swap intake manifold and engine cover from 2015 mustang onto a 2014? I heard the new 2015 IM outflows Boss mani (Bama video?), might as well get that and avoid losing out on low end torque for a DD car. Any thoughts if its actually practical?

How about the new paddle shifters? Could theybe carried over too?

Aye I have seen it too, just not sure if it needs any modifications. Any idea about other parts?

Is this one of those things Ford changed but didn't bother to tell anyone?

I'm also curious to see the difference in power from 14 to 15 intake manifold

No, the 2015 manifold doesn't flow more than a Boss 302 manifold. An AM rep clears that up here, http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...-then-the-boss

Yes, the stock manifold for the '15 coyote outflows the stock manifold for a '11-'14 coyote. I've heard it's not much of a difference, but haven't seen any CFM numbers to back that up.

So just picked up a '15 manifold and throttle body for really really cheap and I've been seeing people throwing up a lot of numbers lately showing like any where from 8-15 hp before a revision in a tune. Has any one swapped out there 11-14 manifold for a 15 yet? Because I'm about to get this spare one I have now ported to keep my bay looking close to stock.

So much fun to watch the guys at the track get mad when they get beat by "stock 5.0"

If you use the '15 manifold does it need a tune?

Not sure you can use it, as the 15's have charge motion plates.

The charge motion plates sit flush with the manifold when open and arent a restriction. Since you cant plug them in on a 11-14, the real question would be is their default position open or closed, and is there a way to lock them in place, or easily remove them.

Does it clear the '15 hood? I was under the impression they had a lower hood line?

It doesn't unless you get lower engine mounts, but OP has a 14, so he's fine.

Cobra jet setups are 1k+ and that's even used prices. I just wanna keep the bay stock "lookingish" and still make great torque numbers.
