new member ?????????????????

bought a 2012 gt in jan of this year(31000 miles) 6 speed manual. added a rousg stage 3 supercharger and gauges,anti hop kit ,1 piece drive shaft a rst mcleon cluct ,mgw shifter ,285x40 x 18 nitto tires now the question .the car has a 3.31 rear.going to 1/4 mile track and check times(bucket list 68 years old).would a 3.73 rear be ok for manly daily driving and 2-3 runs down the track?????????????????

Mine came with 3:73s from the factory. I wish I had the 3:31s now. My first gear is damn near nonexistent and nothing but a pain in the *** for daily driving. I couldn't imagine having a blower with 3:73s.

I actually did that on my last one and its completely pointless. The 275's would roast in 3rd.

Although mine is a long ways from 621rwh my trakpak is a blast to drive in town and I never get out of 4th. I'm a couple of years older than you and although my single 4brl drag car had the same rwhp I had a 2spd auto and 13" wide slicks. For the life of me I can't imagine driving a 6spd with that much power unless you can hook it to the ground without roasting the tires every time you press down hard on the gas pedal.
