Launch RPM

Ok so here's a good question. I was at the track the other day and I couldn't get my launch RPMS correct. I was launching around 2500- 3000. And I was spinning pretty badly. What is everyone on here launching at. If it helps I don't have aftermarket lower control arms.

Ive heard that 2K RPMS is the sweet spot if youre stock yet

2K works great for me and I'm on 3:73's.

The trick is to not ride the clutch while you're launching. Besides saving your clutch, you should also be able to maintain traction.

Also, aftermarket LCA's are a MUST for maintaining traction. Don't think about it, just get them. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah I have 3.73 gears as well so I'll try 2k rpm next time. And I will eventually get LCAs I just have to scrounge up the change for them first.

Although I don't really have spinning tire issues because the lack of torque, the 3:73 gears in my 3.7 was giving me some wheel hop. I purchased a set of LCA's and wheel hop is gone. Save up that change and defiantly worth getting. 😉

Have a great day!

I have LCA with relo. Brackets, UCA, Panhard bar and 275 MPSS tires. Right around 400 RWHP on 3.73. I can do WOT in first no problem with no spinning. BMR is amazing
