Straight pipe questions

So I have a 2013 5.0 and will be without mufflers for a day or 2. My question is, will this hurt the motor in any way. I have an off-road x pipe so there won't be as much back pressure since I don't have cats but what do you guys think and know. Thanks for the input

Back pressure is mostly myth. Get a tune and you will be fine. I will say that straight pipe almost never sounds Good and makes you stand out and makes people hate you.

Haha well I am tuned. I am currently running a 93 race tune and I only plan to stay straight piped till I receive my mufflers so only a day or 2. Only reason I ask is because this is my only means of transportation

Had a friend run longtubes only for about a week, which that sucker was loud. Plus he drives it like a bat out of hell...
