Kam Reset? SCT X4 question

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone knows what this is for and if anyone has any experience with it. At idle my car struggles to stay alive and dies frequently so I'm wondering if this is a good idea or not.

Put the boss mani on about 2 months ago, tuned it, noticed a small difference. Did the exhaust 2 weeks ago then tuned it and has been this way since. It was all smooth up until the boss mani install/tune

Well it could be a few things then
You have a vacuum leak. How did you tighten down the manifold? Follow the proper sequence ?
Or your tuner could be off.
I'm betting vacuum leak though

The car has been running lean and stalling random misfires on 93 tune. For mods I have boss manifold, off road xpipe, jlt cold air kit and Roush axel back exhaust. It will only run on the cammed tune, because that shuts off the front 02 sensors.

Well if the car is running lean it's the tune.
And the random miss fire can be a few different things. Have you removed the transmission at all?

Also you never shut off the front o2's bc that would be your widebands. You shut off the rear ones.

It could be your wideband is messed up. But that should have showed up in a datalog.
Which code is it throwing. Is it Saying "stuck lean"?

And has it been doing the random miss fire since you got the car? Or did all this start at the same time? If so after what mods?

He is talking about your MAF sensor. Did he happen to give a rpm at which he was noticing it?

Well since all those codes are for MAF and running lean. Only thing I can think of is the tune or he SENSOR themselves.

I used to have the p2195 code and it was a bad wideband. Easiest way to figure that out is with a idle log. It could also be the tune though.

I thought about it being the tunes so I had Bama send me a 93 tune and there's no difference it does the same thing.

Just changed maf sensor and front 02 sensors, still nothing changed. I know it's going have to be data loge again but I'm trying to catch up money wise, all my friends have to get paid since I not able to work on cars anymore.

I considered it could be a vacuum leak also but I did the boss mani install exactly as directions read so I'm just confused as to what the issue could really be. I went ahead and tried the kam reset but it didn't do anything really. If I took it to ford to get my 15k mile service could they determine what the issue is and fix that for me?

I don't think that would be a good idea, once they see you put a tune in it and mods you're they won't touch it.Also probably lose your warranty. ..

Running lean. Sounds like a vacuum leak.

Do these codes pop up when the car is just started? Say if you blip the throttle?
