How many built?

Hi there, does anybody know how to find out how many 2014 GT Premiums were built in Race Red with red interiors? I went on Amazon and bought the newest Mustang build book but it's quite vague and doesn't state build numbers that detailed. Oh Ya I'm up here in Canada. Thx in advance.

I remember seeing this info somewhere but I don't remember where.
I do know that 134,075 Mustangs were produced in 2014, 33,246 were GT Coupes and that 27,730 came with the GT Premium Interior Upgrade package.

I've seen a few Race Red GT's but never one with a red interior.
How about some pictures?

Very, Very Nice!
The first Race Red Mustang with red interior that I've ever seen and I like it!
When it's all shined up nothing stands out like the Race Red.

Thanks, a little "cut-n-buff" never hurts and it stays in the garage when not in use.

I like those red inserts in the door. I think the seats would look better with some black alcantara (faux suede) inserts in the middle portions.

Something like this:

(but with the shoulder bolsters still red)

I think TroyB's car with the all red looks great. My own personal thoughts are that black is just overdone, black wheels, black graphics, black interiors................I'd love to put red leather seats in place of my Recaro's......you just don't see a lot of cars any color with red interiors and I think it's killer...............IMHO

It took me 3 months to find the red on red. I looked all thru Canada, finally found this one north of Calgary Alberta. Had the dealer do a transfer to my local dealer 300 miles away. I always liked the 69 fast back. Kinda doing my own twist. And not get goddy! Lol

Build #'s lava red with red interior? Or race red with red interiors? Do you know where to get this information? The dealers I talked to said this was the only red on red they've seen. They have seen white with red.

No I mean there is a thread on here where a guy had a question about how many lava reds with various interiors; someone posted a link on there to all the numbers.

Thank you guys for the compliments, this mustang isn't just a car to me, it's been keeping me sane for last 6 months. My daughter started having siezures a year ago, 6 mos ago we found out she has a brain tumor. We've had a lot of trips to the children's hospital. It looks like she will be having surgery hopefully in June or July. She's 16 and thinks "Dad's" car is pretty cool! Now that spring is here were taking it out as much as we can. Just hope once all of this is over, I'll still be able to afford to keep it. I look forward to reading this forum every day! You guys are awesome!!!!!!

I think your looking at olerodder's picture, I noticed that too. I've got Bassani axlebacks (which are beautiful) and I cut out the stock resonators and put in Pypes M-80s. Awesome!!!!

If you are referring to my Mustang it has the FMS Shelby 2013/14 GT500 axle back mufflers with twin tips and lower valance. Other than cutting the rear bumper, it was made to fit the 2013/14 Mustang.

I had a body saw so it was a piece of cake. I've never cut up a new car before..................so, yes it was just a little scary. The FMS kit which includes both mufflers, the rear valance, and all of the hardware has 9 pages of instructions............so it's a little hard to screw up. Now putting the mufflers on was something else and if I had to do it over again I'd have a muffler shop put them on.

Very very sorry to hear about your daughter. My daughter has to take medication for seizures although her situation looks to be like your daughters.

Let me know how your daughter is doing! You get to be quite the "google" doctor when something like this happens to one of your children! The doctors up at the children's hospital in Calgary have been AMAZING!!!! Her surgery is scheduled for May 28th. They are gonna take out 4cm of her right temporal lobe, I think it's a little much for the 4mm tumor, but hey they're the professionals. Lol they say 3 to 4 days at hospital and she goes home with a bottle of tylenol. Wow! Hope they're right. Takes 6 mos to get off meds, that's what's f'n her up pretty good.... but still better than the grand mal siezures. Take care.
