Motor oil

I have mobil one 5-20 full synthetic oil . I believe its from 2013 or 2014 is oil still good or gone bad info appericated

If it's sealed its fine, where I use to work I was told no more than a 5 year shelf life

Is it true that mobil 1 when it reaches a certain temp you get tar beeds in the oil

You can't go wrong with amsoil, Mobil 1, royal purple, etc.. They are all good oils but that's a huge debate I'm not willing to get into lol it's just my personal preference

Yes they make Amsoil for cars and it's a true synthetic. That Mobil 1 crap you have isn't.

I have read that the chemicals in the plastic container could bleed into the oil after two years. Not sure if this is true or not.

I just bought it today and found out the oil is from 2013 -2014 was in a rush and started grabbing oil

oil from 2013/2014 should be fine. Was it stored indoors? and no to the tar beeds. Maybe you you reach like, temperatures beyond what your engine gets too.

Just use it, will be fine. Go over to Bob is the Oil Guy and get yourself some solid facts on oils.
