2014 GT with dead battery and the key won't unlock the door.

My wife tried to unlock it and she said the key won't turn. It's been sitting in the garage for a while now and it needs a jump. Is it possible to physically unlock it with the key? She said she tried it and it would not turn.

Try to use the spare key you got when you bought the car.

There is a key hole. I can't imagine the key won't work. It's probably because the window won't go down that 1/8 inch and she isn't pulling hard enough on the door. I disconnected my battery to do some work once and went to open the door and was met with some resistance. But I slight tug and the window popped out of the rubber it rolls into.

When I did my leather seats, I had no problem opening and closing the doors when they were up and I had the battery disconnected.

Thanks. She couldn't get it open so I'll look into it when I get back to the states.

She'll probably need to reset the window once it's powered up. Instructions in manual - easy but window won't seal right if you don't. I think it was something as simple as holding the switch in the down position for 3 seconds after it stops.
