advance, autozone, napa, oreillys, generally the same thing. not usually the best quality parts if you go with store brand and remanuufacturers. but you can still order motorcraft stuff through them. best is to figure out which local shop has a good manager that will take care of you. a lot of their parts have lifetime warranties, so hold your reciepts and your covered a lot of the time.

Far south end of Chicago there's a shop called A-Team in Tinley Park that has been around forever. Lots of goodies over there, been there a long time, friendly and the weld's are in the window

Another shop in Mokena called High Speed Performance that did one hell of a job tuning my bike when I had it. Tuned a few friends vehicles and my neighbor's ATVs. Nice dyno, can get any part you need, great shop, cool peeps over there.

I'm not sure about the Apollo area but google for car shows in that area and I'm sure quite a few people there will know of the local car clubs.

STORE

Used to be about 10 years ago but not so much recently since I'm always working and can't make it to many events. I try to make it to the local car shows when I can.

"Noodles76" is correct in the Stores he mentioned, I use "Mustang Specialties" to get my work done on mine, but have used quite a few "Steeda" parts on my Car.

I will say I don't recommend mustang specialties for tuning. My cobra was never right with their tunes. It had to go to another shop to get it to idle properly but I can't remember which shop it was. But they did the full build on the motor and bored it from a 4.6 to a 5.0.

You can also add BMR to the list of Florida based Mustang shops out there. I've even heard Kelly is known to give nice discounts to walk ins.
