Easy fix, spring for the yellows

But if that's not in the budget why not get them from Steeda, cj, or late model? They are on sale everywhere right now

Koni always has back orders. When the yellows go on sale its usually at multiple places and they go out of stock everywhere and take forever to go back. Oranges are most likely the same.

End of march, but they gave me a great deal and I knew they were on back order. I am still trying to decide on springs. What did you end up going with? I'm 90% sure on Steeda sports

I paired the SR springs with koni oranges. In my opinion it's perfect. Aesthetically, the car handles VERY well, and ride quality was only slightly reduced. It's tighter, which was to be expected.

I have the sr spring waiting on the koni struts now. Also have a pile of bmr parts. So once I get my shocks and struts it will be nice to get the suspension build started.

I just ordered some rear oranges from
hypermotive. They had them in stock and shipped the same day. Free shipping and no tax to Florida at the same price as AM and everyone else that is sold out of them at the 60$ price.

the str.t's that everyone is ordering...are you doing the gt500 mounts or does it matter? I think you only needed the mounts if you went with the struts for 05-10, right?

AM and the Koni Orange

If you want to run the GT500 mounts then you need the 05-10 struts.

what would be the benefit of the 05-10 struts and the gt500 mounts? does it firm it up more than just the struts would by itself?

The benefit is having a more durable strut mount.

Give ebay a try.

After 2 weeks I got tired of waiting on AM and cancelled my order.

I ended up ordering mine off ebay for about the same price as AM.

Had them at my door in 3 days.

Ya I'm thinking of canceling my order the wait gets shorter then I get an email and they add another two weeks. Don't feel like spending my summer waiting to do my suspension.

Hope you guys have better luck than me. I bought mine from AM and installed mine and had a terrible squeaking sound so I took everything back apart and put it back together to make sure everything was good and it's still squeaking because of the struts. Apparently koni has known of the problem but sold them anyways. I'm calling them tomorrow to see what they say but I really don't even want them anymore. It's embarrassing to drive the car now sounding like that.

I'm having the same problem and mason from koni is kind of a ******.

He wants me to pay for replacements and send back the old ones and he will decide if they are defective and he also says this is a rare issue but I see a bunch of threads complaining.

And to top it all of before he sends out the ones I have to fill out a forum mail it to him along with a copy of my drivers license and the registration to my car.

What a joke I can't believe this just Installed mine on Sunday and the squeak is so annoying.

Yeah you would think a company like koni would try hard to fix mistakes. I got the same vibe from him on the phone earlier he acted like I should have never called to ask about my terrible sounding struts that the company he works for messed up. Really don't want to give anymore money to koni. Anybody know any other good brands for struts at a good price where I can reuse the factory strut mounts? I was considering the koni yellows but after talking to him I think I'll stay away from koni.

Yeah he told me it's no big deal if they are squeaking. I got mine from Dan at Hypermotive and he told me he was trying to work something out with his supplier so hopefully I can get these noise things off my car.

No big deal that they are squeaking he says. I took of brand new factory parts thinkin I am replacing them with better parts and now I feel like I am driving a 92 Ford tempo with 220k miles.

OK maybe not that bad but still brand new parts should not squeak.

I installed my Koni yellows this weekend and I have zero complaints. Is this just an orange issue?

From what I've heard it's only been the oranges with the squeaking problem and apparently koni knew they had a bad batch and sold them anyway. Thank you koni for making my car sound like a beater
