If you look at just a few previous threads, it will take you about .002 seconds to find about 50 about which gas is best.
They all end after pages of arguements and name calling. So this one popped up and got sniped right from the get go. (Head shot)
The second biggest arguements starter is......
"What oil should I use?"
And to answer your question, just grab the nozzle that doesn't say diesel, and then ....

Basically what all these butt pirates are trying to say is it's basically personal preference unless you have a lot of mods or a tune and requires a certain octane level. On the other hand they might be being a$$ clowns because they don't know what octane ratings are really about just a bunch of trailer trash backyard mechanics that think they are pros because they bought some parts and read directions.

And you, 4.slow, are what's wrong with people. Expecting EVERYTHING to be handed to you, even if it's simple.

A magical tool that most
Americans think is now a myth, but oh, does it still exist, is called... wait for it; the "Search" bar.

Lol this is true. They think because they installed some intake and a tune they are masters in the world of mechanics. This is what i hate about "car people" they think they know everything about cars.

How can you say something like this after asking what gas to use? Use the best gas you can in your car.

After reading everyone's posts, I thought I'd give a serious answer and not criticize him for asking a question.

Being nice and polite to people can be beneficial, believe it or not. Obviously some don't think like this.

Besides those that have tunes requiring a certain octane, there's about a 50/50 split of the 87 gang and the 93 posse.
Each with their own strong points and pitfalls. I'm waiting to see who's more powerful before I chose a team.
Then there's the mid grade 89-91 boys.....they're weird.
Sometimes I mash all the pump buttons with my forearm at once and let fate decide which one got selected. It's like octane roulette.
Seriously...if I had someone else push the 93 button for me and they secretly pushed 87, placebo effect would work just fine.

Nice job grouping all of us. Fyi, the 5.0 can run on 87 and 89, but runs best using 93, and is rated using 93 octane. It can run on less than premium rated (91+ octane) fuel because the ECU will ****** timing so that the engine doesn't knock, the knock sensors help with this as well.

But really, the compression is 11:1, which is pretty high. Run premium quality gas.

I spent the time logging fuel from 4 different top tier stations. Once I found the best (and I check periodically) I only use that one station. My car see's up to 30 degrees timing on 93 non ethanol. Everyone with a tuner and laptop can do this in their own areas. Fyi.....

You're a moron. any type of question is what a forum is for. Stop thinking you know way more than everyone and ridiculing people who don't. Sorry this guy had a simple question and wanted a genuine answer instead of just searching it in. the search bar. So YOU are what's wrong with people. Lay off

This was not a dumb question. Sure you maybe could have searched it but whatever. You're entitled to ask whatever you want that's what the forum is for. Don't listen to the ******** that think they're cool because they sit behind their computer and think they know everything. I put premium in mine no matter what.

To you ********:
I knew the answer to this question but that doesn't make it a dumb question. All these guys have their heads so far up their asses it's hilarious

Because we are sick of lazy people who don't take the few seconds to search for this, as I thread like this was made a few weeks ago. Thus, the forum gets unnecessarily cluttered with redundant information.
