Clunking noise won't go away

Ok so this clunking noise is coming from the front of my car. I have replaced the struts and the strut mounts and it still makes the same noise. Any ideas what could be causing this?

When did the clunking start? Did you lower the car and if so what struts and strut mounts did you use, or did you have it done at a shop?

Hmmmm. Have you made sure you tightened the strut mount good? Last year a friend of mine did his and he tightened it but not all the way. With the rubber cap on you should see a few threads. His clunked until he gave it a few ticks with an impact.

I have a 2014 gt and there was a service bulletin about the front control arms. Mine was replaced by the dealer. You would hear the clunking when going over bumps.

If the clunking was not there before you took it to the dealer I'd be taking it back to the same dealer and asking him to fix it.

I've got a 14GT/TrakPak and have never seen a "service bulletin" talking about the front control arms, do you still have the service bulletin and what was the number on it.
Thanks,
John

Yes it is lowered with eibach springs and eibach struts and shocks. And it kind of sounds like it's also coming from the rear as well.

What strut mounts did you put in or did you use the stock ones?

Try to rock the car side to side. Push on it and get it rockin. See if you hear the noise.

It wasn't a service bulletin, it was a service advisory. When I brought my car in they showed me the advisory. They will fix it for free. Ask your service department about it.

Can the rear sway bar end links be replaced alone or do I have to buy a new rear sway bar kit?

If you are talking about the bushings the ends of the sway bar go into on the axle.............you'll have to ask your Ford dealer, but would assume them to be a service part. If these are the parts you want to replace can I ask why you need to replace them.
If you are talking about the stabilizer bar links they are part number CR3Z-5C488-Q for both R and L and should cost you $26 each. I am assuming you have a coupe and not a convertible.
