Hmmm....pros and cons on these. For a good one, you might want to visit an RV dealer in your area. Many of the cheaper wireless kits sold have a poor signal past 5 feet, and are easily blocked by metal or solid objects with their transmitter/receiver, which kind of defeats the purpose of wireless, right?

RV centers will sell a good kit, but will cost more. Here's a product where the phrase 'you get what you pay for' applies.

There is one good one I seen at S.E.M.A.

It was really a nice design. The camera was in a license plate frame. It was wireless hookup except for the power that was attached.
The screen was made to place on a dash like a GPS or anything like that.
I may have some pictures someplace, I'll look for them.
Ronnie

I found it:::

Hi Mister RaceRed3.7

No Joke,
It is a pretty nice set-up for anybody that does not want to drill holes or screw up the wires in their Mustang and want a back-up camera. This is a well designed, Well made quality product that will appeal to some people.
This is one of the item that if you do not like it JUST DON" BUY IT"

OP, do you have Navigation already ? If so you should considering adding a wired back up camera and get your radio programmed to take it. Any aftermarket wired camera will work you just need to wire it properly (you'll have a lot of good options), then have the nav. unit programmed.
  • Back up camera: $25-100
  • installation: $0-150 (DIY = free)
  • Program Nav unit: $60-140 (depending on who does it)
So for as little as <= $85, or as much as $400 if you paid someone to do everything for you turn key.

Here's what I did: How to: add a back up camera to stock Navigation Sync unit

Now if you don't have the Nav. radio, and are considering upgrading the Raxiom kit with backup camera is a pretty nice set up to consider.

There are a lot of option for back up can the biggest thing is how much do you to spend, do you want it to look factory finished, and how much work do you want to do.
