2014 GT Ford Performance X-Pipe Install

Anyone had fitment problems of bolting up/installing Ford Performance X-Pipe. Supposed to be a direct bolt up replacement for the factory H-Pipe. Looking to buy asap if it fits well

It does not fit well. Go with UPR. It is a great fit and price not to mention sound.

I had to have mine welded in by a muffler shop due to bad fit...but I got deal on mine from Tommie Vaughn so not a big deal. You're gonna love how it sounds!

I can only speak for the Corsa after cat x-pipe. It makes your exhaust sound amazing. I like the raspiness.

Will this go good with the GT500 quad exhaust?

I don't know how different the gt500 quads are from the gt500 singles but for the singles I've read nothing but good about the tone and sound level. Now fitment, that's another story. ..

I feel like the GT500 mufflers are not loud enough. Do this help make them louder?

I just got my resonators deleted and definitely improved the sound and made it more aggressive. I highly recommend doing this.

Just an x pipe won't make them louder. In fact it will actually seem quieter. The h pipe makes the exhaust seem gurgling and the x pipe eliminates much of that. This is my experience. Now go off road, that's a different story.

You put an after cat x on with GT500 muffler and it made it quieter? Did you have the resonators on still?

The after cat x pipe replaces the stock h pipe with the resonators that are located right after the cats..strange that this makes it quieter.

I don't have gt 500 mufflers, I had magnaflow streets cat back no resonator system and it def got quieter. It changes the tone, and takes away that "old school" sound they have with the h pipe.

It does not replace the resonators. Those are in the over axle pipes. And yes it made it quieter both in and out of the car.
