Stock one is fine. They only real option is the accufab 84.5 as supposedly the ford 90mm is hard to dial in. Enjoy. What rpm you shifting at?

If your shifting above 7k then I'd get at least an 85mm, the 80 is fine if you're not planning on shifting that high. But then what's the point of getting the boss manni then 👍

Nothing but logic in that statement... "I could help, but instead I'm just going to be a prick! Then I'll just have a smartass response for everything!"

Exactly... Anyways...
OP there are plenty of threads out there showing about 8-10 hp gains with a larger TB with the boss manni. But most of them have LTH, otherwise you won't see that much gain

Well let's go ahead and close this thread. So we do not keep advising the OP to purchase a paper weight.

Go worry about your " can I lower my car 2" with a slick " thread

Is that supposed to be an insult? I don't understand the hostility... I've done my research. Sean at aed recommends the accufab 84.5mm with this setup. Countless threads on it. I understand he probably won't see much of an increase without headers, boost, etc...I understand you really know your ****... But If you know something I don't please let me know. Not looking to fight on a forum, just trying to help and get help.

No insult. Just tired of seeing threads where stuff that is not needed being recomended. A throttle body is a paper weight for the most part. Yes shaun does recommend the accufab, bc it's the only one he has seen a gain with. Worth the money? No. Will it actually help other than on a dyno sheet? For the most part no.
Another reason it helped slightly is bc the opening of the boss is 85mm.
This is where the 90mm from for racing is pointless. Unless you plan on porting the boss and having it opened up to 90mm.
Then again goes back to the price standpoint it's just not worth it.
That $500-$700 can be put towards something alot more useful.

Basically Rapernator is saying $700 for 1-2hp is not a good investment dollars per horsepower wise. Even a LTH with a measly 8hp or so is a better deal dollars per HP wise.

Hell come to think of it even a CAI is a better deal dollars per HP wise if you get 1-2hp for $250-300.

Without porting the Boss IM or forced induction an aftermarket TB is just a waste of space. Engine will suck as much air as it can and no matter how much bigger you make the mouth she'll suck as much as she can suck and the stock TB is just fine.

As I said, the stock is fine... But, there are other options if you so desire. LOL

I'm trapping 121-122 mph with the stock throttle body. Seems to work for me.

The boss and GT use the exact same throttle body, that should tell you something.

I'm with Rap though... i really enjoy this forum in some respects, but its hard to decide which is worse; the people willing to spoon feed, or the number of people wishing to be spoon fed...

It's only that way because you should really wash off the manure the roses grow in before gifting the roses to the woman...
