what is loudest supercharger

Hey Everyone
I'm new to this site and just had a question about superchargers. I have a 2014 mustang GT and want to make it obnoxiously loud I am Planning on long tube headers and boss 302 side exhaust and pype bombs and a supercharger. What I'm looking for is that sweet whine you hear like the terminators and the shelbys make.Oh yeah one more question if I put off the supercharger for a while and I keep it N/A if I install comp cams stage 3 n/a cams and want to do the supercharger at a later date will I have to change out the cams or will it run fine and just make a few less hp?
Thanks

The vmp one has a solid whine to it. As far as cams go I don't think Superchargers care about cams as much as turbos so so those should do. Get a scond opinion on the cams for sure though.

Just make sure the cams are supercharger friendly.

You could always get a big centrifugal with a loud as **** blowoff valve.

Although if you live in a neighborhood and have a setup like that I highly recommend you rethink your setup. Some of us have jobs and small children. If you live out in the country or not in a neighborhood setting then carry on. I just hope you realize that loudest does not usually=sounds best.

TVS 2300 kits whether it be VMP, Roush, Magnusson, or Edelbrock are all very quiet at lower boost levels with the stock air box. Use an open element CAI, smaller pulley, and have traction (puts more load on the blower) and the TVS 2300's whine some. The Whipple is much louder under the same conditions.

None of the TVS 2300's compare to the Eatons on the Cobra's and early GT500's. Personally I love the way Prochargers sound at idle, but they quiet at RPM. It's all a personal preference, I have a TVS 2300 and it's way too quiet imo. but it was cheap used and performs pretty well.

I have a 2.3 vmp running 10lbs boost and open intake, it whine pretty loud. Rap has heard it and a few other people on here have from my Instagram. Oxford has actually went for a ride in my car. You can hear the supercharger outside the car from some distance as well.

That's usually how people knew it was me, before I got my offroad x. With the magnaflow street catback it was very quiet and the blower was actually louder than the exhaust lol but now they say they hear a mix of whine and ROAR lol

I have a Paxton, doesn't whine as it's a centri. but go the maxflow BOV and it's pretty loud whistle. I go on a lot of cruises and shows with our local club and people 3-4 cars up hear it. They always think something is wrong with their car until they find out it's mine lol

My Novi sounds pretty much just like a turbo. Its a 15 year old Novi so definitely an older design. Putting a BOV vented to the air on it so it should be pretty cool. Will definitely freak out some of the tuners around here.

I have a TVS 2300 with an open element CAI, it does whine some, but nothing compared to the 07' GT500 I had with a 2.59" pulley and open element CAI. I guess it's all what were comparing it to. I have heard a Whipple on a Coyote and it's louder than the TVS. Most of the supercharger mfg's are trying to make the kits as quiet as possible, it seems to be what the market wants. Personally i like blowers to be pretty loud.

My M90 likes to scream with the CAI I put on it. Which it's not a big supercharger but it's still fun to drive. Puts a smile on my face everything I get the car out.

Your right on there, that blower scream adds a lot to the experience, too bad they dont make many like that anymore

Yep such a shame. Which it really could've used upgraded internals. Roush doesn't even offer a service/repair kit for the supercharger. It get really annoying. Which I'll just make the gaskets for it, but it would be nice it was already available.

VMP and Roush share the same blowers. The VMP tune is superior tho.

Look into the Maggie with a rear OD Cog (if they make it for the Ford) and pulley up on the front to get the boost back where you want it. The COG drive sounds great I had it on my last car and you hear it idle to wot..

I agree, these sound great but they are not an option for the Fords.

Closely the same. The vmp is port matched from the blower to the elbow and it's also one piece. Making it flow better and they're actually louder than a roush. Me and a few friends have compared them. They even had open air boxes.

Some of the casing is designed differently, too. Or that's just what I've read...
