Shift knob

I recently put the blowfish racing bracket on my 2011 gt and I'm experiencing vibration from the shift knob. I am using the stock shifter with the 2012 boss 302 shift knob. When I took the knob off it didt vibrate.
So I'm wondering if anyone knows of shift knobs that could dampen the vibration

Wrap some teflon tape around the shifter thread and reinstall.

I think it may be more an issue of the stock sloppy shifter with a heavier ball making it too heavy and in return picking up vibration. Is it a matter of noise or feel?

It's noise that bothers me. Under acceleration past 3500rpms it makes a buzzing noise.

Then as Mari stated Teflon tape is worth a shot.

I had this and found out I had the first generation bracket. I got the "upgrade Kit" which annoyed me a little because I ended up paying more that they sell a gen 2 for and I didnt realize I was buying a gen 1 or that there was 2 , lol. But anyway the upgrade took care of it. you will still get sometimes. the teflon tape helped some but really it is just stiffening up everything so vivbration is going to happen. Especially at the 3500-4500rpm range
