2012 Purchase?

Hey guys, I currently am looking at a 2012 5.0 that is the Orange/yellow color they did limited numbers in. Not the poop brown one, the metallic one. I can purchase this car as is, $22,500 before taxes.

It is a premium, no track pack, leather, no nav, 45k miles. They only thing required to do is stare inspection. The car drives fine, nothing leaking, no bad ticking, no real sign of the typical problems from mustangs that year. Coming out of an 06' GT with 43k miles, would this be a smart purchase based upon the above info?

Kbb says private party value in good condition is 22700 (if it's an auto) based on those miles (my zip code). Check kbb and make sure you have all the options listed. But sounds like you would be paying exactly what kbb says it's worth. If it's a manual it's prob a little less. I'd say try to get it for a grand less than that of you can.

Oh, forgot to mention, this car is at my dealer. Price changed, shop bill, $23991 is what I can buy it for. Needs a little work, has two dings, the grayish/black bumper trim needs to be replaced, the car will need brakes soon, and the rear sway bar bushings are shot. Seems like the car may have been ragged on. I'm probably gonna shy away from it. And mind you, that i can get cars at cost since I work there. They put too much into the car.

Yeah. $24000? You can get a brand new 14 for that.

Find another. Get on svtperformance.com and look at the classifieds for 11+ cars and see whats what. I just saw a 2012 Roushcharged Lava Red manual trans car go for $25k. I'd never buy from a dealer anyway when you can get cars like that from a forum member and know if they're an idiot or not and go back in their post history and get an idea of how the car was treated.
