But really, thanks for the suggestion. It made me look into it and change my mind. Also that video was awesome.

To anyone still active on the thread. I talked to a service rep yesterday about warranty work on the clutch and flywheel.
They said its covered under the standard bumper to bumper 3/36k mile warranty. Do y'all think it would be worth the savings to have them throw on another oe clutch, or so I just go for a perf. Unit.
Also to anyone who had the trans fluid swap tsb done, is it worthwhile? I'm in Oklahoma so it does get sort of cold here.
Or should I just swap everything, clutch, fw, perf trans fluid etc.?

Why put the same garbage back in and have the same problems, get a better high rpm clutch and then no more 1 - lockouts and shifting is so much smoother. Tranny will last longer too.

Because it's free? I'm a college student and don't have deep pockets rn as far as money and time go.
Right now I have to deal with rebuilding a dyno and tuning a race engine for a formula car. Plus I'm not pulling 500+ lb-ft.

I was wondering if anyone has done it. Honestly I'll probably just end up getting the centerforce unit.

Yea, its alot of paperwork transfers. Surprisingly I wish I had some math to do. I'm also a team lead for my school's (Oklahoma state) formula SAE team. Engine/drivetrains/electrical. So writing harness, tuning, trans/clutch. Etc. We use a yfz450r engine. Custom intake (I an designed the new plenum/intake for the thing as well as a custom tb).
