My First Mustang - 2011 Mustang GT Premium

So I went to Carmax and bought a 2014 Ford Mustang v6 because I loved the headlights and tail lights 3 days later i get a call from Carmax that they just got this mustang in saying for $3,000 more they told me i can switch it for a 2011 Mustang GT Premium i said F*** yeah. The pros about the 2014 are just the headlights and tail lights and as for the 2011 I mean this car is fully loaded 5.0, Shaker sound system, back up camera, leather seats I mean things i was already thinking of adding when I had the 2014. By the way this is my dream car I always wanted a mustang just wanted it to be a mustang I would like.

Car color is Kona blue
Upgrades so far are well all I did was plasti dip the emblems and rims. I purchased the 2013 Headlights already just waiting for them to arrive.

So check this out these are upgrades im thinking of doing once i get the money.
1st -2013 Headlights
2nd -Borla exhaust or Flowmaster thunder
3rd-BBK Cold air Intake
4th-Tuner
5th-2013 Tail lights
Maybe at the end a Boss 302 intake

Heres a picture of when i got my car.
And after I plasti dip the emblems and rims

Get the borla exhaust, don't waste money on an intake that doesn't result in any performance at all. Use the money else where.

Very nice. Make sure you get the trim pieces that fills the gaps you'll get with the '13 tail lights.

Not sure what previous cars you've had but here's something I wish someone told me. I've had about 20 previous cars. A lot were very expensive and nice, mainly European. I had no previous rear drive muscle car experience.
Be very careful in the rain or wet roads. The 2011+ 5.0 is a beast and will kill you or destroy itself if you're not easy when the roads aren't perfect. You absolutely can't horse it like you do on dry pavement.
2nd day I had my 2011, I wanted to show my daughter how it threw you back in your seat. It was drizzling rain. We nearly crashed bad on a two lane road over 70 mph. I drove it back home with my heart pounding.
Also, give some consideration to Roush axle backs. They're a bargain, they (Roush) specialize in only Mustangs and F150/ Raptors. And the sound is just amazing.
If you like mild crackle and pop downshifting when it's still cold and a little rasp, then it's a sweet axle back. Take off the resonators too and you have nascar sound.

Yes so true that's why I told friends and people I would only race on track because the area I live at is very populated and thanks for the advice I would look into the axle backs..
