2013 headlights on a 2011 GT

I have a 2011 ford mustang gt kona blue.

Had a 2014 v6 loved the back end and headlights but hated the round hood and it was a v6 so traded for the 2011 gt premium for 2000 more

So today I finally received my 2013 mustang headlights, the ones that have the LED lines. I purchased the pair on ebay for 120 each so that's 240 after that I purchased oem ballast and xenon bulb for 150, after that I realized I need to modify the harness but luckily found a guy from Projectoretrofits.com who made the two harness to connect your original harness to fit the new headlight harness that cost 125 plus 35 for the turn sinals one bringing me up to a total of 240+150+125+35= $550 lol

Since the headlights cost 120 of course it had the top bracket broken and the front lens needs a little sanding but I'm sure I saved about 400 -500. Here's a pix of the headlights and as soon as I receive the harness I'll do a diy video or pictorial.

By the way here's the links of the harnesses you need to do this I believe it's called a retrofit.

Yeah you'll need both mustang harness and turn signal adapters!

They will look great on you're pony.. I too have a 2011 model and did not like the factory headlamps. I bought the raxion halo smoked projection head lamps and love them

Have a great day!

Now what if you have the hid headlamp option on the 2011? Is anything needed or just swap in the 13/14 housing? Seems the only thing is the led running lights are missing on the factory 11/12 hid option. Anything else needed?

Looks like ProjectoRetrofits.com went dark. And OTC Performance and Detailing doesn't respond to emails. Anyone know of other sources for wiring harnesses?

OTC performance and detailing turned out to be a scam. I'm stuck in the same boat you're in 11. Looks like we missed out.

For me, having the harness is the green light to move forward. But I may end up working something out with another member.

Love that scoop. Is that an aftermarket hood or just an add on scoop?
