Similar/better wheels than SVE Drift?

I had planned on getting the SVE drifts in 18x8 and 18x10 but they will not be available until 7/17 and I have already been waiting a while, and I don't know if I can wait that long seeing as in Michigan I get a limited time frame to enjoy the car and I am impatient to get my car setup. I do like the looks and also the fact that they are decently light for a really good price. I know AM has similar ones but they are a few pounds heavier per rim but are there any other close weight rims that wont break the bank?

SVE and AMR wheels are basically the only ones IMO that are good for the price. I was going to do it but I am way happier I spend 350$+ per wheel. I'm not going for weight purposes anyways.

Eh Id say the SVE's and the AMR's despite what's listed are exactly the same weight.

As mentioned above, unless you're spending another $100+ per wheel for something forged you're not really saving any noticible weight.

If I could find that they are closer than a few pounds from eachother then I would jump on getting the AMR since no waiting, can anyone else confirm this? Or maybe just go AMR because whats the chances I notice the few pounds per rim?

AMR'S look like crap, and the SVE'S are played out. I would choose a new style

My problem with new style is I don't want to spend crazy money when SVE would be just perfect as far as good weight and I like how they look. I have other things such as suspension I also want to get done this summer and I only work part time and go to school. It is too hard having a car and trying to not spend all of your money..

I wanted it to be around the $1500 range for rims and tires so I can get my other projects underway

My other plans are suspension(about 900 of parts left to get), I wanted to put in HIDs(about 400 from TRS), then I was going to justify using whatever money I get from selling stock rims and tires to go towards getting a tune and O/R pipe lol. I also most likely wont have labor charges besides an alignment since I plan on doing it with a buddy

Hey Grimkreg

Grimgreg the AMR, SVE Drifts, RTR wheels all look the same and I'm sure they are all within a pound of each other. I live in MI too and I know how short our mustang season is so just get the AMR's. Look in my garage if you want to see pics of the AMR 18" charcoal wheels on a black 2011 GT.

Looks like I will be impatient and go with the AMR wheels and MT tires. Just got to wait a few days before I order since I just got the rest of my suspension and retrofit stuff. Excited to get everything on =]

Heres a pic of my sve drifts that I had in 19 inch, and my current setup which are american muscle gt500 style wheels in gloss black which can be had for around $1500. Me personally, I like the gt500 way more than my sve's. Just another option to consider.
