Only thing I'm worried about is.
After 8,000 rpms the car falls back to 0° of cam timing automatically, For a split second then goes back up. Due to the VCT. So the only way to wipe this out is to delete the VCT.

It only last for a second though, and happens in between shifts.

It would be pretty cool to be racing side by side with a V-8 street car screaming at 8K rpm. In general you have to be Jeff Gordon, etc to hear a V-8 at 8K next to your fender. Good luck with it, nice project.

Im guessing this is because the stock tables end at 8k and the computer has to either extrapolate, or carry out the last value, from there? .... interesting. I wonder why (or they very well may) the Boss cars do not suffer from this. Very interesting. Good luck with the build.

Yes the boss cars do. ( my car is a boss pcm/software car) It has to do to with the VCT it automatically sets it back to 0° only way to disable this is to delete the VCT. It only happens for a split second then kicks back in.

Well, Rome wasn't built in a day.

What's your rotating assembly consisting of? Don't you have a Roadrunner engine? Could have sworn I read that somewhere here.

A man after my own heart. This is exactly the setup I'm going with in my coyote. Was looking at Carillo rods but they're pricey.

What trans are you using? MT82? What kind of power increase are you expecting with the new found rpms?

Yes mt82. And now since I have to wait till I get the vct delete and phaser delete. I will do the cams at the same time. So 45-50hp increase.

But this year it's moving slow,as I told my wife at the beginning of the year I would take it easy.

While the heads are off you should deck them just a little. A small increase in compression would be nice since you aren't throwing boost at it and you already run E85.

Yes I plan on doing that. My uncle just had the ones on the termi done for $500 from his friend, with titanium valves. So I will bring them to him possibly.

I've heard a coyote can take up to 16:1 NA on corn. I don't know exactly how nitrous would affect it though.

Getting ready for 8100-8200 rpms

16:1? Good God, that would be horrible mileage...
Then again this car wouldn't get out much so, wouldn't be too bad...

That's my goal if I ever do a coyote swap. High rpm NA with ridiculous compression in a 3000< pound car.
