The Performance White paint on my '13 is great, you can barely tell that the rear bumper is a different shade...

Here is my opinion...

I would buy the 14' IMO... The 14' looks way better, it is lighter and only 15 less horse power, it is .1 second quicker through 1320 than the 15'... However that comes down to the driver. Easier to mod the suspension. The 14' will be much cheaper to buy all round.

However the 2015's motor is forged except pistons and it has the IRS the only upsides i can see to the car. Oh yeah available line lock too.

Wrong. That's for 2015. 2016 is full production

I agree the 2014 look a lot better, but there's something about new that always catches my eye. There's about $3,000-$4,500 difference in the new verse used (depending on what negation are done). I wouldn't think anyone could mess up a car in just 6,700 miles, but it has me thinking why someone traded a car in with only 6,700 miles. There are a lot of good points made and I appreciate all the help. I just keep changing my mind because I just don't want another bust like my present car.

There are those crazy people who do not drive their Mustangs a lot. A coworker of mine took a trip to a Boston area Ford dealer to look at a Black 2014 GT with low miles on it. When he got there, they had it in the showroom. But he did not buy the 2014. He bought the black 2008 GT500 with graphite stripes, pulleys, exhaust and dyno tune sheet showing over 600hp. The previous owner was a guy in his late 60's and only put 5500 cruising and car show miles on it.

My buddy from work just got that GT500 registered today. He brought it in and we took it for a ride. The old man who owned it before him took great care of that car. It looks new. Wow. But, the old guy did not upgrade the wheels, tires and suspension for the CAI and pulley kit he put on. One small tap of the throttle and the tires break loose with ease. Super clean and lot's of power.

Yeah he did. The best looking 2008 GT500 I've seen. When the sun comes up. I'll run out and take a picture. The dealer had a sticker of $37,000. With his trade he got it for $22,000.

Riiiiight... It is not a beast but it is NOT stock either. FYI... Do you think those pictures are recent? I no longer have the Nitto555 on it. Those pictures were taken back in April. I have since put a set of Nitto INVO on. On launch the Nitto's are fine because the power does not hit until 3000rpm @ WOT. That is all I have to say about that.

My car has also been in and out of the shop for some added work the last couple months. I was going to wait for the warranty to run out but decided to say F it. I've had work and upgrades done to the interior, trunk and engine bay. It is currently at the body shop awaiting animal damage repair. I decided to buy Cervini stalker hood and ram air system with their GT500 grill and valance package.

Like I said it is no beast. But not stock either. Well not stock power.

If the 3-4K diff is new 15/used 14 I'd go 15. To help you decide it seems the 14's are more muscle car while the 15's are performance car (one of those subjective opinions) either one is nice. I would be leery of a car with only 6500 miles and one year old. While the original owner MAY have fallen on hard times it is also equally likely he didn't like it for whatever reason. That 1st year depreciation is a big hit to take for no reason. Ask the dealer to run a OASIS report on it, that is a record of Fords wtty work on it (pretty sure).

Bro sorry but this isn't conflicting with Rap's statement at all.

Everything you said specifically about the car was all cosmetic. Not a single item listed increases power. "... work and upgrades done to the interior, trunk and engine bay."

Interior adds no HP tho lightening it counts as performance
Trunk work adds no HP tho lightening it counts as performance upgrade
Engine bay (not engine?) adds ricer coloring IMO and no HP

And Nitto Invo sucks on anything more than stock power.

So Rap says it's all show and no go... what all have you done to your car power wise?

This I do agree with. Heck I saw a Mach 1 yesterday and it looked very lightly modded with different wheels. So I went around back and looked at the tires, I was a bit disappointed.

Dude did you read where i said power does not come on till 3000rpm at WOT? The trunk work is a modification to hide the nitrous and to hide all connection under the hood. I like a stock look under the hood where no one know what I have. Just as Rap thought it was all show. I'm not one for talking about my cars mods to much or my guns or my personal life. It is just not me. I give as little info as possible. If some one does not like it. They can Pi$$ off. Peace out!!!

As for the tires they hook up great to the stock power and once the nitrous hits they do very little spinning. I drive my car daily and I put 36,000 miles on it 22 months. A 295 rear INVO works nice for my setup. I live in NY so I'm restricted with certain mods for emission. NY has the same emission as California. So my car here in my area is pretty decent with the setup and power I have.

Be carefull spraying under 3500 on a stock motor. With a 100 you "should" be OK. But if you jump up to a 150 I would raise it to 3500.

Right, my tune guy told me not to launch past 2500rpm. On the street my tires start to break lose around that RPM while preparing to launch the car. When I get a chance to take it to the strip I will probably increase the WOT window RPM to 3500rpm. It is set at 3000rpm for street use. I'm way more cautious on the street and do not do the stupid crap I'd try at the track. So I feel safe with the window starting at 3000rpm.

Someday, after my girls are though school. I'm sending the motor to Wiesco and K1 Technology for their sleeved short block 351 motor rebuild. Then slamming 300 or a 400 shot through it. As well as adding supporting mods too. By that time My Stang will be paid off and I should have my new daily driver, a Focus RS. Right now my Mustang is a have fun car but, get me to work everyday too. So I need to be conservative with it. Can not go to wild just yet.
