2014 Rear Deck Lid Panel

So I have come across this picture of a 2013/2014 with a rear deck lid panel that has just the mustang on it not the fake gas cap and it's glossed just like the stick one. I have been tearing through the Internet trying to find it. Does anyone had an idea of where to find it?

Like the Need for Speed mustang?

It's probably just an RTR decklid with a pony emblem on it.

If by not the greatest... you mean rusty pieces of junk and the company not standing behind them.... then that's putting it... politely.

It was just explained above. Read the comments dude. The latest run of production since CDC dropped them was terrible.

It's exactly what is explained in the above comments. All that is, is the RTR decklid with a pony emblem.

Seriously, all this has been explained in the thread already.

That's def just an RTR panel with an emblem on it. The RTR panel is poorly powder coated when new, leading to rust as you see above. This was not my panel. I don't have one. But this is a friend of mines panel. It didn't look horrible at first but the rust did what rust does, spread. And eventually it looked crappy so he took it off. So they currently do not make these as they have a ton of issues with them. So long story short, you are currently SOL on getting one of these unless you find one used, or go with one of the few other styles. However the carbon fiber one that is out there goes over the hump in the decklid and gives the decklid a different shape. Same with the other one that is plastic and looks like the license plate surround. The RTR is sexy because it follows the original contours of the decklid.

If you are wanting to be a "tech" like I saw you had interest in, you need to remember that your here to help and not scald people who don't understand. Even if the answer is above. Just thought I'd mention that. If you have an issue with redundant questions, the title and duties of the position are not for you bud.

To be fair, they did compensate those that had issues, including myself.

But did they compensate you for the months of gleefully waiting their product?

Favorite mod to date, albeit I had it professionally painted and not powder coated. I'm also the creator of the greatest RTR decklid thread in the entire world

Oh, and RTR picked up the tab for the work

Are you joking? You want them to pay you for having to wait for their product? From what I've read for those that ordered could have canceled any time and for those who had quality issues they took care of them and paid to have them corrected. Although the product turned out to be a major flop can't exactly say that rtr didn't do everything they could to make it right.

I was indeed joking lol. Mostly joking about all the hype and then getting a pretty bad product for the wait lol

It was an awful product, but any half-reputable body shop could do anything one would want to it. Paid a premium, and had one helluva wait for it, but I'm glad I did. Also glad I paint matched it because my initial thought was to keep it black. I've received nothing but compliments on my booty lol. Although I could see it not being for everyone.

I had a few people tell me that I should've kept it black, which is cool, I respect that. But I love the look because it's different. I enjoy the confused look I get sometimes when people look at the back of the car at shows/meets lol.

I have it as you described. They do not make the RTR in metal anymore which is probably a good thong. They are greatto work with though. They are redesigning in an abs plastic i believe. I ended up getting mine re-powdercoated after about 6 months
