Question about Twin Turbos.

I should be getting twins here in the coming up months need to know what is the regular maintenance on it I was told it takes a lot of maintenance and also I know it uses shorty headers so can I still get my offroad x pipe?

number 3 would be whatever your tuner suggests.

number 4 is read more on the forums (really, twins on a 5.0 is nothing new at this point).

number 5 is good and frequent oil changes.

Twin turbos are the same as a single turbo expect you have to maintain 2 of them. And it depends on the turbo and the maintenance required for it. Best bet whatever kind of turbos you buy follow that brands maintenance schedule to the T with obviously keeping up on the routine maintenance.

You can use shorty headers or stock manifolds depending on the kit you choose. And unless the mid pipe is integrated In the turbo kit some how you can use whatever mid pipe you want. In all honestly if your doing everything yourself I would do a lot more research and make sure you understand 110% what your getting into before spending 8-10 k plus on turbos. Or if your having a shop do it I would follow their advice (assuming it's a reputable shop).

Bottom line, yes, off road X pipe will work, as the midpipe won't be affected since turbos use shorty headers. The maintenance, I'm not sure, so I'll differ to some of the others on here as they would know about that.

Assuming you're not, i'll explain my reasoning:

You asked 2 very simple and self explanatory questions in that other thread.
1. Asking what an after cat mid pipe was, the answer is straight forward and all over the internet.
2. Asking if a mid pipe advertised as being for long tube headers does in fact need to be used with long tube headers ... i need you to work with me man.

Also, you may be new, but the platform is not. I pulled all these off the first page of google off of this forum:

Twin turbo 15 GT or no?
