Changing 13-14 headlight bulbs

Having some trouble. Purchased new bulbs for my 14 Cali special. And cannot figure out how to get the headlight
Bulbs out of the housing. I've tried twisting pulling twisting the other way and they won't budge? I've looked online everywhere and can't find a single video. Someone please chime in haha. How do you remove these suckers?
By the way, they're stock hids, so not like a normal bulb.

Something different. Got some 6000k from diode dynamics. Just can't figure out how to get the suckers out.

I figured it out. Two little metal prongs hold it in. They're difficult to get to though. I need small hands lol

Wow, that's a lot of headlight bulbs. Most of us only have two.

On my 2010 with factory hid's there is a small plastic lever on the side of the housing next to the bulb that releases the metal prongs that hold the bulb in.

Headlight housing is much more accessible if you remove fuse box, and air intake. And of course small hands lol. I broke those darn metal clips when I tried replacing hids myself, my big hands didn't help either. They were fcukin bruised up by the time I was done

PS: OP, are your diode dynamics bulbs hid or led? How's the light output?

They're oem hid replacements. They just happen to sell them. And I just pop off my air filter since it's different than a n/a cars location. I haven't got them in yet. I honestly can't figure out how the freakin clips pop off. Don't wanna break something.

Best and safe bet would be take everything off, and make headlights accessible as much as you can. If you break those clips, you're screwed. They cannot be replaced, you're gonna need a new assembly.

There are two clips, one on the side (8'o clock) and second one is across from it (5'0 clock).. Kinda hidden/bit behind the igniter box part of hid bulb. Get a flashlight to take a better look.

Orrrr just take it to dealership and let them worry about it
