12v source under hood, need help with headlight wiring

So I want to put Oracle halos in my headlights but I am having a hard time finding a 12v source under the hood. I have a 2014 GT/CS.
I wanted the halos on with my running side bar lamps.
Like this picture

So I unplugged one of my headlights, turned the running lamps on, and tried to find the source of power coming from the headlight harness to tap into for the halos.
I tried every combination and for some reason I can't find power from this harness. The other side was on and when I put it back together, the headlight worked fine...

I plan to open them myself.
But I didn't do anything yet, trying to make sure I can do the wiring I want...

Let me know how you make out.

I spliced my halos into the turn signal/side marker lights. It was easy but because I'm so detail crazy it took me a week in the winter while my car was in storage. The actual time should take mabe a day if you have everything you need.

Are you talking about oracle halos or AM halo fog lights? Because I have the AM halo fog lights and they are spliced into the same lights as yours because that's what the instructions said do. But we are talking about oracle halos here for the actual headlights.

So you have the oracle halos as well? Did you open your headlights yourself?

Those are not what we are talking about. Makes me wonder did you read the full thread and click his link to see what we were talking about. Also we're talking about 14 GTs.

A Multi-Meter with 2 red ports for DC amperage will help. One lead on the battery post and the other lead will provide volts/amps.
