Tire pressure

I have aftermarket AM rims and Sumitomo tires that were on my 11 GT when I purchased it. Tires say max pressure is 51 psi, door sticker says, inflate to 32. When I got my oil changed, they told me to go according to what's on the door. What are your thoughts? I always thought you were supposed to do about 5 under what's indicated on the tires themselves.

If tire size is the same I would stick with what the door suggests. the only #'s I know are mine which with the 255/40-19 = 35psi and the 245/45-19 = 32psi

working from memory so I might be a bit off.

Tire pressure

Best psi is 32-35 on most vehicles. Now some SUVs/trucks require more but in most cases cars do 32-35. It may differ if you are running radials or are prepping for the track.

If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.
