What mod first?

What should I do first? The boss 302 manifold or a tune?

The boss manifold requires a tune correct? So It would make sense to buy a tune, and then save up for the boss 302 and re tune later on ?

the manifold won't work w/o a tune so unless you buy both at the same time you've already answered your own question.

Why do you want a Boss manifold? Do you plan on boosting the car? I ask because the manifold alone has very minimal, gains below 7000rpm and a little tq loss at low rpm. On its own it's not the usual top choice for first mod especially when you consider the cost and alternatives.

Get a tune first. Lund is the best IMO for email tunes if you are not going to get a dyno tune. Lethalperformance.com just came out with a new tuner the Ngauge. it is supposed to be better than any sct tuner out there. Reviews have been good on it.

Intake, tune or short throw shifter should be the first.

Get a tuner/tune combo. JMS, Steeda, BBR, etc. all good tunes for stock cars. If forced induction look at JMS, BBR, AED, Lund. In my opinion the extra cost of an AED or Lund is a waste on a bolt on car.

I've got a lund tune and love it. I did the tune and off road x at the same time and it made a big difference. I say tune and cat delete/o/r pipe.
