oil lost on break in?

I have a 2015 gt performance package mustang 6 speed manual, with jlt cai,mpt 93 race tune.installed tune at 1000 miles. have 7750 miles on car now.ive drove it somewhat hard since the first mile.checked the oil yesterday and it was 2 quarts low.does this sound right to anyone.should I not be concerned? I think ive heard that the 5.0 will use some oil breaking in.any comment is well appreciated. thanks

I never had an issue with oil burn during break in period, but it's not that uncommon. 2quarts does however seem excessive.

I bought my 14 new and have almost 24k on it and I've never had to add any oil. 2 quarts seems excessive to me.

Agree, I have a 2014 also with 13K, and have not had to add any oil between changes!

Is it safe to assume you guys checked your oil between oil changes?

seems a little high imo, you should really try to make it habit to check your oil every other fill up atleast

I check my oil at least 3 times a week just for fun. On my 3 oil changes Ive used a different kind of oil each time so I check it constantly to make sure nothing has changed. Right now Im running 5W20 Mobil 1 and it is exactly at the same level as day 1 after 500 miles of driving.

Bought my 14 TrakPak with 2700 miles and it now has 8400 miles. Oil was changed once and it was on the money. I've got a Airaid CAI and 91 tune...since 91octane is all I can get....................never added any oil. I have an old style UPR oil catch can...........small one...........and check it for oil every 200/300 miles and also check the dip stick at the same time....................never any missing.
I would be hot footing it back to the Ford dealer asking why I lost two quarts and if they say it's normal I'd ask them to put it on the cars computer record............for the record, because that just isn't normal................and it is excessive!
